I thought it over and came up with a few small things to wish for:

☆ share headcanons about some favorite characters

If we have some fandoms in common, I'd love to hear your favorite headcanons about any character you want to talk about! Anything at all would be lovely.

Some fandoms I'm familiar with include Avatar the Last Airbender, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Star Trek Voyager (and TNG and DS9), Stargate SG-1, Yu-Gi-Oh, Yu Yu Hakusho, Fruits Basket, Ultraman Arc, Kamen Rider Ryuki, My Hero Academia, NCISLA, Gundam IBO, and Elementary. ☆ recs for your favorite hanahaki fics/podfics/art

Hanahaki is one of my favorite tropes, but I don't read it often enough. Nor do I really see much art for it. Any fandom -- even ones I'm not familiar with -- is fine to rec me (except for Harry Potter, which I'm not interested in engaging with.) And I would prefer recs that don't include major character death.

☆ recs for tokusatsu series to watch

If you're familiar with tokusatsu, I'd love recs of series to add to my watch list! I'm slowly watching what I can get my hands on, and would love to hear why I should check out some more.

I've already watched Megaranger, Timeranger, Kamen Rider Kuuga, Kamen Rider Ryuki, Ultraman Blazar, and Ultraman Arc. And I'm currently watching Abaranger and Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon (yes, the live action one)

I'd happily enjoy drabbles or ficlets or art sketches for any of the fandoms I've mentioned in this post! (But please no NSFW content or major character death)

It's always so difficult to come up with a wishlist, but hopefully these are all okay 😅

Toku rec! Mahou Sentai Magiranger - about five siblings who become Rainbow Wizards and fight the darkness to avenge their parents. Wonderful series about the bonds of family, with well-crafted plot twists and a hella catchy theme song.

ATLA headcanons:
-Zuko can eat the spiciest of spicy food and not even flinch. Everyone who shares a table with him just STARES and Azula has a complex about it because her spice tolerance is merely "high" and not "super".
-Azula was Ty Lee's first crush. When they were little, she said one day she wanted to marry Azula, and she never quite stopped feeling that way even after she turned on Azula to save Mai at Boiling Rock.
-Aang and Katara took their kids to all the places they visited on their travels, especially Kyoshi Island and the Ba Sing Se Zoo.

Added to my list! I do love stories about family bonds (and catchy theme songs 😊)

I love these headcanons! Zuko beating Azula at spice tolerance and her being mad about it 😂
And I can totally believe Ty Lee's first crush was Azula. I bet the Boiling Rock must have weighed on her afterwards, even though saving Mai was the right thing to do.
Avatar family roadtrip! That sounds so fun. I hope Aang and the kids got to ride the unagi together at Kyoshi Island 😁

For Toku recs I have to mention Kamen Rider OOO and Gotchard XD Since you follow my journal though and have seen me talk about then at length I'll bring up something different: I really loved Ultraman Z! It was the first Ultraman TV series I saw (First Ultraman thing I saw at all was Shin Ultraman, which is also fantastic.) and I loved the dynamic between the host and Ultra in that, as well as the personality of Ultraman Z himself. Ultraman Orb is also great, and there's a character from Orb who returns in Z as well as part of the main cast, but I still need to get back to watching Orb since I haven't finished it yet.

Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger is also a delightful series if you want to check out more sentai, it's an anniversary series like Gokaiger (Which I also highly recommend, even though I still need to finish it. It was actually my first proper toku before OOO!) but like Gokaiger it's extremely approachable if you've haven't seen much sentai before. It has a fun cast and a delightful protagonist. It also has a dancing pirate! Zenkaiger is just such a fun time all around and a show with a lot of heart.

Headcanon wise for Ryuki: I like to think of Ren as being a (very) repressed bi man.

Oh yes, I definitely already have OOO and Gotchard on my list 😁 Z and Orb sound like the next Ultra series I should check out. (Someone once randomly rec'd Orb to me in the comments of one of my Arc fics 😂 so apparently I definitely need to watch!)

Adding Zenkaiger and Gokaiger to the list!! I'm very intrigued by the dancing pirate 👀 and I like the idea of a series that is easy to watch for a relative newcomer like me

nodding so hard in agreement repressed bi Ren is basically canon to me

not sure if this is what you're looking for, but my only hanahaki rec is a platonic one: Choking on Sunlight by issuedSideways. MCU where Tony Stark develops hanahaki as a teenager, with a hopeful ending.
