As I was driving to work this morning, a black bear casually ran across the road and into the woods on the other side. Thankfully I was just far enough away that it didn't hit my car (but if I'd been a minute earlier, maybe it would have π±)
It was probably medium-sized I think? Not a tiny cub, but not really very big either. Then again, I couldn't tell you what size a full-grown black bear is supposed to be π They are still relatively rare around here.
Anyway, my first thought was "holy [insert expletive of your choice here]" but then my second thought was "if a black cat crossing your path allegedly brings bad luck, what kind of luck do you get with a black bear?"
The answer remains a mystery π€
