August '24 writing goals

I feel like July lasted a million years, but maybe that's because I'm just tired 😂 anyway, it's time to think about writing goals again.

July's post is here

Let's see how those goals turned out.

1) finish my pod_together fic

Success! I did manage to finish the fic a little ahead of the deadline. I got distracted along the way (signed up for SoD lol) but I accomplished this goal in the end.

And that was my only goal for July. Work and life were too busy for a bit to focus on anything else. It was nice knowing that I only had one goal to meet, so I didn't feel too stressed about it.

And now, some goals for August.

These are gonna be kinda sparse again, since I really do need to give myself a writing break. I've done a lot over the past two months.

1) Write something for fandomgiftbasket

I finally have time to actually look at the masterpost of requests!! So I want to be able to find at least one little thing to write for someone. Hopefully more, but we'll see how it goes.

2) Write something for femslashfete

I was doing this weekly, but I had to take a few weeks break to focus on Pod_together. So I'd like to get back to writing for the weekly prompts again. It's been great to have an excuse to write more ladies 🥰

3) Work on any WIPs

This is pretty generic, but I have way too many WIPs and it'll be nice to make some progress on any of them.

So we'll see how these goals pan out. But since I need a break, I won't be too mad if I don't make meet them all by next month 😅

I really want to write some things for fandomgiftbasket too this month. I've spotted quite a few baskets that have caught my eye. (Also hope to make art and icons too for it!)

Im also really interested in writing for femslashfete whenever I can get a chance! It sounds like such a fun challenge, and I do wanna write more femslash.

Good luck creating for fandom gift basket!! I'm already having trouble narrowing down what to do 😅 too many good options

I hope you get to write for femslashfete 😊 I know it's definitely helped me write for new fandoms and ships. The prompts are always really good
