July '24 writing goals

Somehow it is July 🤔

My monthly writing goals for the first half of this year have been either wildly successful or a resounding failure 😂 it really just depends on the month! But overall, this is just fun to sort of casually gauge my progress!

June's post is here.

How did June's goals pan out?

A bit of a mixed bag, but I'm not too mad about it.

1) finish my intoabar fic

Success! I was able to get this done before deadline, and I am actually very pleased with how it turned out

2) write a drabble (or double drabble etc)

Failure! I just couldn't get focused on this one. Oh well

3) write more for femslashfete

Success! I like the prompts from this community. I only wish I didn't take so long to settle on a ship every week 😅

4) work on some WIPs

Success! I poked at a few things~

5) write a sulemio fic

Failure! I didn't manage to write anything for sulemio week, but I didn't really have a lot of time to do it anyway.

Not everything was a success this month, but I still felt very productive because I worked on a lot of stuff. So that feels like a win overall!

And now July goals:

1) finish my pod_together fic

Deadline is near the end of the month, so I'm gonna put almost all of my focus on this for a while.

Not going to set any other goals this month because it's a busy (and kinda stressful) one. We'll just see where my whims take me this time for everything else.

Fingers crossed for a good month of writing ahead 🤞
