alchemicinkI made it through the first week of the year, which is historically a difficult week for me to get through. But I've actually had a really nice week.
I've got a lot to share for this week's summary!
Firstly, I've been participating in the![[community profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/community.png)
snowflake_challenge for the first time! It's been fun so far, but I haven't had a chance to comment on other people's posts as much as I'd like yet. (Hopefully I'll have more time this week)
For challenge #1, I made a few tweaks to my intro post that you can read here.
Challenge #2 was about goals
Challenge #3 was about making a wishlist. I've received so many nice responses so far, including some fic recs and a Toph/Suki drabble!
I wanted to grant a few "wishes" too, but I've been busy this weekend working on stuff forfandomtrees first. I'm very excited about that too! There are still a few more gifts I want to create as well, so we'll see how that goes before the deadline.
And while I'm mentioning different events and such, sign-ups for this next round ofseasonsofdrabbles is open. I still think I'm gonna end up sitting this one out (because I know work will be excessively busy at the same time), but I recommend it to everyone else. It's a lot of fun! It definitely helped me expand my fandom list on ao3 last year

Music stuff!
Kanjani8 was on The First Take to perform two of their singles, and the first song is one of my favorites! This is a nice performance. (I also just recommend checking out more videos from The First Take channel. It's a good variety of different artists and performances there to enjoy.)
Nemophilia released a live performance video of Rise which is one of my favorites too.

Been a while since I talked about college basketball. I haven't been able to keep up with much this season, but my team (NC State) has been doing pretty well lately. In fact, the men's team won earlier this week on a last second buzzer beater. Always exciting! And yesterday, I visited my parents to watch the basketball game on TV, and it was a lot of fun because NC State absolutely stomped on their opponents 😁 Here is a Twitter video of one of the coolest shots of the game.
The women's team has also been having an excellent season so far (but they lost their game today 💔)

The start of the new year has been really nice, but today's actually been a bit stressful (I had a minor gas leak in my house last night 🙃 but it's fixed now). So I've been less productive than I planned to be today. Hopefully later tonight I can write my post for snowflake challenge #4 and maybe finish one more thing for fandomtrees and finally catch up on commenting on several things. Currently, my brain feels like mush though, so we'll see how it goes.

Date: 2024-01-10 02:40 am (UTC)Hiei!! He's so cool 😊 I feel like the story didn't give him enough time to shine, but he was great whenever onscreen. Also I loved the Yusuke and Botan scenes too! Botan is so funny 😁
But Kurama is my personal favorite lol. I couldn't stop giggling any time he was onscreen. I just really like his fighting style, and how elegant he is despite being quite ruthless. I thought everyone had really great fight scenes tbh!
