Weekly summary: June 7 - June 13, 2026

Anyway, here's what I've got to share today:
Writing stuff!
Vialinky, there are two events going on right now that have caught my eye: the first is Sapphic Summer which is running through September. Fill a prompt and then leave some prompts. It seems fun though I haven't had a chance to do any myself yet. And secondly, there's Toku Summer Splash over on Tumblr for toku ships. I love the prompts here, but I'm being indecisive over ships (as usual), so hopefully I'll get to do something before the end of the month.
I did post a new fic this week though! A very short one 😅 It's a Trini/Kimberly fic from Power Rangers (2017). You can read it here on Dreamwidth or here on ao3.

Music stuff!
This was a good week for bands I like which feature violinists 😂 We got a new music video from Unlucky Morpheus (Onikobe) and East of Eden (Telepathic). I like them both!

TV stuff!
As I mentioned last week, SSBC is returning next month for a new season! And this week, all the regulars from season one were confirmed to return. Hooray! I'm looking forward to seeing Takaki again on screen. Hopefully I'll be able to watch this season somehow 🤞

Also, it just hit me that Ultraman Teo starts airing in just a few weeks! I'm so ready to have a weekly Ultraman show to watch again.

As for offline life, I'm making it through. I mentioned in this post about the 4-H show I went to. It was fun as always but too dang hot.
We're in the midst of a really bad drought right now. It'd be nice if we could get a good rain soon. There are thunderstorm chances today, but with storms come the potential for bad wind and hail. I just want the rain!!
This coming week looks to be a stressful one for reasons I don't want to explain here, but there's nothing to do but wait it out. I plan on spending my free time this week watching stuff as a distraction 👍
