Friday Five answers (6/12/26)

thefridayfive this week. I had to think about the answers to a few for a surprisingly long time 😅
1. What is place you have visited, or want to visit, that starts with D?
I've been to Durham, North Carolina a few times, mostly for not-fun reasons. I'd like to go back eventually and explore whatever fun stuff/historical stuff/etc they have there
2. What is a food that you like, or don't like, that starts with R?
I'm a big fan of rice! My college roommate gave me her rice cooker when we graduated, and I'm still using it. It makes things so easy
3. Own anything that starts with the letter M?
I have an assortment of fun mugs even though I'm not a coffee drinker. I just put water in them
4. Know anyone whose name (first, middle, or last) that starts with N?
There was a Natalie in my class in school, and a Nathan in my brother's class. I have nothing exciting to share about them
5. Favorite movie, book, TV show, or song whose title starts with T?
Favorites are too hard to pick, so I'll go with what popped in my head first: Turn A Gundam (is this answer cheating because it actually starts with an upside down A? 😂)
Anyway, Turn A Gundam is one of the best Gundam series I've ever seen. I wish I could watch it again sometime. It's a really moving story that, in my opinion, embodies what Gundam is all about. (Plus, there is a tiny moment where you can see a map of the southeastern United States in the background of one episode 😁 I posted about it once here)
