TV stuff first this week.
A short teaser trailer for the upcoming second season of Netflix's live action Avatar the Last Airbender series was released. We get to see Toph in this!
My brother keeps saying he doesn't want to watch this, but I do!! But I don't have Netflix so I'm gonna have to do a lot of convincing from now until the season comes out in a few months.
(My review of season one is here. It wasn't award-winning television (the first episode is especially rough) but I liked it despite its flaws, tbh. Adaptations are like fanfic to me, so I don't get mad about them like most people do.)
My weekly tv reviews are here. I'm including reviews of season one of Miss Scarlet and the Duke for the next few weeks. It's been fun to look back at the beginning of this series again.

I'm continuing to post my backlog of finished fics to ao3, and this week I finally posted one that's been finished since....... March 😅
It's a Kamen Rider Ryuki fic: (not) giving up, (not) giving in
It's an angsty Tezuka/Ren thing that I really just wanted to write so I could get the idea out of my head. Mind the tags!
I still have four more finished fics to post! Maybe I will get two more posted this coming week.
I spent most of the week working on event fics. I'm working on treats for the tokuhols exchange right now, and really hoping people will like them. And I'm also working on some short gift fics for the sapphic stocking stuffers event too. Hopefully will finish at least one this week 🤞
I'm gonna need a writing break after all this 😂 but at least I'm having fun!

Music stuff!
None of my bands are doing anything interesting at the moment, so I've been watching odorite videos this week instead. (Odorite are people who choreograph dances [usually to vocaloid songs] and then upload the videos. I love them)
So I discovered a fun collab group this week. They're called Vansakan. Here are my three favorite videos from them:

Offline life was a little hectic this week. We started off with some snow! I got to go home from work early on Monday and watch the snow fall (very pretty). And it was just enough that I could work from home on Tuesday. It's rare for us to get snow in December, so it was a nice surprise. And thankfully it all melted by Wednesday.
Of course, I spent the rest of the work week going "I don't know what day it is" thanks to the weird start 😂
Yesterday, my brother and I went to the NC State basketball game in Raleigh. Our team lost by just one point, but it was a very fun game to watch so I can't be mad about it. Also, the halftime show featured someone I've been hoping to see in person for YEARS, so really, it made the whole trip worth it 😁
And that's it! I hope I can be more active on Dreamwidth this week 🤞
