Somehow we're already at the end of August. Weird.

Not too much to share this week, but here are a few things:

Music stuff

No music videos this week, but some ridiculous hsj news: Yuto withdrew from the group to "focus on acting" effective immediately on Aug 28. I'm still baffled over the timing of this and how quick it was. We'll never get an explanation, but I will certainly continue to think about it.

I think it's weird that the group's official twitter account never mentioned it.

I'm annoyed that fandom keeps acting like Yuto died 🙄

Ultimately, I've been following this group since there were 10 members. (Now there are 7) I've learned to roll with it by now.

To be honest, after posting fics for the first time in months, I've been kinda disappointed in how few hits/kudos/comments they've received so far. It makes me more grateful to the people who did read and enjoy them ♡ But mostly it makes me feel like I don't want to share many of my fics anymore. I don't know what to do. I still have several finished fics to post but... maybe I'll take another break first.

Made my usual TV watching post here. Whale Store wrapped up this week. (It was kinda disappointing overall but at least it had a happy ending). SSBC ends next week (I will miss it so much). And I'm probably in the minority here but I really love 10 Things... (Slow burns are my jam)

Edit: in my rush for breakfast, I forgot to add that I rewatched the movie "Holes" for the first time in... I don't know, at least a decade or more. It's still a fun watch and a good story. I had forgotten how all the plots intersected, but they do connect so well.

Nothing exciting to report about offline life. Work continues to be busy and September looks even worse. I need a vacation day! But that's not gonna happen any time soon, so I'll at least enjoy having tomorrow off for Labor Day 😊

Anyway, that's it. I'm gonna post this and then eat breakfast. (Maybe I am a bit hangry 😅) Wishing everyone a fantastic week ahead!
