Weekly summary: Apr. 13 - Apr. 19, 2025

alchemicinkMade it through a stressful work week 🥳 this week will be busy too but not nearly as stressful, so I'm grateful for that. It's warm again so maybe I'll continue to enjoy the nice weather for a bit.
Here's last week's summary:
I am still watching through Power Rangers Lost Galaxy. It isn't great, but there are parts that amuse me. The writing continues to be really bad. (I don't think In Space was ever this bad??) I also felt really bad for the pink ranger actress Valerie Vernon, who was diagnosed with cancer in the middle of filming and ultimately had to quit. I keep watching this show and wondering how it would be different if none of that happened. It kinda depresses me to watch now that I've gotten to the episodes where she's replaced. Anyway, I've got about 10 episodes left to finish the show. I don't remember how it ends.
I did enjoy episode 18, however, and even made a short silly post comparing it to a Voyager episode 😁 This makes no sense to anyone but me.
The only other thing I've been watching this week is Boy Meets World. (Can you tell I'm just in nostalgia mode recently?) I'd forgotten most of season one so it's fun to watch.

I didn't get a chance to write too much more this past week (thanks to the aforementioned stressful work), but I did poke at a few things so I feel like I'm making some progress. I should have more time this week 🤞
I also decided that I am gonna sign up forseasonsofdrabbles this time. Looking forward to it! (Still trying to decide which fandoms to pick lol)
Also, signups forintoabar open on April 27. I enjoy this event but I'm still undecided if I'll sign up this year. I'm having trouble deciding on which characters and fandoms I'd want to do. At least I have a little more time to think it over

There's a new playlist of YouTube shorts (in English) about kaiju and such from Ultraman Arc. You can check it out here but just be aware that it starts at the end of the series and goes backwards from there 😒
I'll add it to my Arc resource post soon.

Lastly, in offline life, I've spent way too much time outside 😂 I was outside for two hours on Thursday and ended up with sunburn 😭 thankfully it's mostly faded now, but it's just so early for sunburns! I will not survive the summer 😂
And Mom and I started planting our gardens yesterday! I'm so excited! I will write a separate post about this later (bc I want to take some photos of my plants to include 🥰) Moving around all those heavy bags of dirt yesterday was very exhausting though... I am tired today lol
