March '25 writing goals

Look, it was a very tiring month so you'll have to imagine the joke yourself 🤪🫠
Anyway, February's writing goal post is here.
How'd those goals turn out despite me being really busy with work writing too?
Eh, not as bad as expected.

halfamoon ficlets/drabbles
Success! I did manage to write something for seven of the 14 days, so I'm really proud of that! Maybe I'll do even more for the event next year 🤞
2) Ultraman Arc valentine's day fic
Failure! Unfortunately, the timing of this coincided with the end of the big work project and the end of halfamoon so I was too tired to actually write it. But I did think about it A LOT, and I did scribble down my idea and an outline, so I may write it sometime soon anyway. Or save it for next year? Who knows
3) finish/post some of my Ultraman Arc WIPs
Success! I posted two this month (both of which were like 99 percent already done except for a little bit of editing, so they were easy to complete). My brain is still stuck in "I just wanna write Arc fics" so that's like all I'm thinking about right now in terms of fics 😅
4) Ladies Bingo
[Insert hysterical laughter here]
Failure! I'm just gonna give up on this again this year. My heart's just not in it right now. I think I'm not made for Bingo events 😩
5) birthday fic 🥳
Success...? in the sense that I counted one of the Arc fics I posted as a birthday gift to myself 😂 I can't remember now if that's what I had in mind when I made this goal or if there was another fic I was planning to write. But I guess it doesn't matter!
Overall, considering the circumstances I'm just happy I wrote anything last month! So I can't be too mad about the failures.
And now March goals:
I'm gonna keep this list short because I really probably should take a little writing break (though I know I probably won't)
1) continue working on Ultraman Arc fics
Still got lots of WIPs I'm poking at, and it's just about the only fandom my brain wants to focus on right now so that should be easy to do.
2) try to write a bit for the usual Dreamwidth challenges (likefemslashfete and toku100challenge, plus there's a new round of tokuficathon starting today!)
If I wanna write something but not sure where to start, all of these have plenty of excellent prompts to use. And I don't have to crosspost to ao3 right away for any of them if I don't want to.
And... that's it! Some months, the goal list is just gonna be shorter than others (even if the month is longer 🤪)
