January '25 writing goals

Posting this a day early because I'll be sharing my End of Year Writing Overview tomorrow, and I felt like maybe I shouldn't do both in one day 😅

Let's see if I managed to accomplish my goals:

Actually, I did pretty good! (Thanks to some easy goals lol)

1) finish my tokusatsu exchange fic

Success! I didn't have any trouble with this (even though it got off to a slow start) and then I managed to write some treats too! It was a lot of fun to participate and dive into some new fandoms

2) keep writing fun things

Success! I'm currently having lots of fun with Ultraman Arc fics. I keep getting more and more ideas 😂 this momentum/inspiration won't last forever, but it's been nice to go with the flow while it's here.

So what do I wanna do in January?

1) fandomtrees fics!

I'd feel bad participating without giving anyone a gift, so I want to write at least one thing. I have some requests picked out. I just need to focus on doing them

2) write something for femslashfete again

It's been a while, but I do want to write for this again! I've been stuck in "spend all week to decide which ship to write" hell lately, and then miss the deadline each time. Maybe I need to start drawing names out of a hat to decide 😂

3) Ladies Bingo fics

...I really should start on these eventually 😅 again, I have decision paralysis

4) work on some WIPs

I have lots of things I've started that I could finish if I actually took the time to do it. There are a couple of shiritori snippets in particular that would be easy.

I could probably add more goals but January is usually a busy month for work, so I don't want to pile on too many things. (Especially because I'll surely get distracted by a new idea at some point this month 😂)
