I was thinking about skipping this one because I'm kinda in a lull at the moment. Nothing new has really grabbed my attention lately...

But then I remembered that I've listened to this performance of "Slash" by yama on repeat for this past week. So, why not share it here??

If you'd like English subtitles, then you can also check out the actual music video instead, which is also really nice. (It's animated!)

But I prefer the live performance version honestly. Just something about the simplicity of the piano accompaniment and yama's vocals that resonate more with me in that performance.

The song was used as the opening for the second season of Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury. So the lyrics make even more sense if you've seen that, but even if you haven't, I still think the emotions are striking.

This is actually the first and only song I've heard from yama, though I probably should look up more in the future.

So, anyway, that's the thing I've been interested in most recently. Hope y'all enjoy!
