December writing goals

alchemicinkI threw together a slapdash list of writing goals at the beginning of November, so it's time to check in to see how I did and come up with some goals for December too. I'm gonna try to keep up with this monthly in the future, just for fun! (We'll see how long I manage lol)
Last month's goal post (pun intended) is here
Let's see which of November's goals I actually completed:
1) finish my Seasons of Drabbles fics
Success! I wanted to write more than seven fics for the most recent round, and I managed to do so with no problem. (I wrote nine fics π)
2) sign up for the Planet BNHA exchange
Success! I had the chance to write my favorite sport and one of my favorite ships, so that was nice
3) finish a few WIPs I started in October
Failure! Haha... I spent too much time working on the pbnha fic that I never got back around to these yet. Oh well. Ideas aren't like food... they aren't going to expire π
4) finish an angstshipping fic
Failure! But to be fair, I did work on this fic! It's getting closer to the end. And I poked at another angstshipping WIP too. And I thought a lot about a new idea for this ship too π
5) write a drabble for Toku100
Failure! Someone tell me to stop procrastinating and just write the damn Megaranger fic!! π I should maybe rewatch the last episode again for motivation
6) work on my PRiS fic project
Success! Last Saturday, I wrote another little fic in the overall series I have planned out. Still like... 30ish more to go, but progress is progress
7) write one thing for ladies bingo
Failure! Okay, but I did decide on which bingo line I'm doing first and what fandom/characters will be featured for the first fic (it's Stargate SG-1). So that's progress. I just didn't find time to get started yet
8) expand the amount of fics for several fandoms I've already written for
...mostly Failure? Some Success? I added a couple of ATLA fics (bringing that total to double digits) thanks to Seasons Of Drabbles. But I didn't get to do much else.
And now, a few goals for December:
1) Christmas fics!
I have ideas planned out for several short and sweet ones, but in past years, I usually get sidetracked and only write one. But I'm not signed up for anything right now, so maybe I'll have better luck this year.
2) write that Megaranger drabble
Seriously!! I don't know why I have trouble getting started on it
3) write more of the PRiS fic project
It would be nice if I could at least do two or three more in December. They are usually pretty short anyway
4) get back to those October WIPs
Vampire AU angstshipping fic. A silly Royai fic. Zukka on a fishing trip. Kurahi tending to their wounds. I would be happy to finish literally any of them
5) ladies bingo fic
I should also stop procrastinating on this!!
I think those are probably my only writing goals for December. Mostly just carryovers from November π We'll see how it goes. My inability to focus has been my own worst enemy lately.
Who knows? Maybe I'll end up reading more than writing instead... Β―\_(γ)_/Β―
