February '25 writing goals

Did anyone else feel like January lasted both a million years and also two seconds?? What is time?

Anyway, January's writing goal post is here

Let's see how my plans turned out...

Surprisingly not too bad!

1) fandomtrees fics!

Success! I only managed to write one, but it counts!! I do wish I had started on them earlier, so I'd had more time. That'll be something to take note of next round.

2) write something for femslashfete again

Success! Squeezed this in at the last minute (posted it Thursday 😂). I'm glad I finally got my brain in gear to do this again because the prompts are quite fun

3) Ladies Bingo fics

Failure! Hahahaha... nobody look at me 🫣

4) work on some WIPs

Success...? In the sense that I started new fics and continued to work on them, so they became WIPs 😅 (Tho technically I had intended to poke at some older WIPs, but Ultraman Arc consumed my brain instead)

Anyway, all in all, not too bad. Even though I had low expectations.

Now for February:

1) halfamoon ficlets/drabbles

I'm already working on these, so that's a preemptive win 😜

2) Ultraman Arc valentine's day fic

I just think it would be fun :)

3) Finish/post some of my Ultraman Arc WIPs

Seriously, I have like four at the moment. Some of which just need a few final edits!

4) Ladies Bingo

Listen, I'm nothing if not optimistic!!! And it's femslash February after all!!

5) birthday fic 🥳

Might write myself a really self-indulgent treat as a gift to myself 🥰

I think I'll stop there with the goals, lest I overwhelm myself with too many things. Especially as the beginning of the month will be extremely busy with work. I'm sure at some point, something else will pop up to distract me anyway 😂
