This week felt like it lasted 100 years but also I remember barely any of it 😅 it was not a good sleeping week, so that was probably the problem.
Nevertheless, I still have a few things to share for this week's summary.
Being exhausted meant that I couldn't concentrate a lot on reading or writing. So I spent several evenings just zoning out while watching people make fancy desserts on YouTube 😁
I especially liked these two: Strawberry cream puffs and fruit jelly roll cake
***
Still not a lot of music to share lately. But I did see the news that Wagakki Band is going on hiatus at the end of the year. They're going to all work on solo stuff for a while before getting back together again. So I understand, but I'm still sad about it because who knows when we'll get new music from them after this year.
***
Season four of Miss Scarlet and the Duke finally started airing on PBS last Sunday! I've been looking forward to the new season (even though my favorite character didn't come back this season 😭 Moses, I miss you). I was planning to write a little standalone post about the season premiere episode, but did not have the brainpower this week after everything else. So maybe I'll do one this week for both episode 1 and 2.
My main takeaway from the season so far, however, is that I just love the costuming so much 🥰😅
***
Two fic recs this week:
This very silly YGO fic where Kaiba and Atem fight over the last taiyaki in a convenience store at 3 am.
And this FMAB Roy-centric character study focused on his hands.
***
Lastly, I'm still enjoying the Snowflake Challenge! (Though I hit some introvert burnout this week because I'm just not used to getting so many comments from people 😅 it's fine though, I'll adjust!)
The challenges have been a lot of fun to think about and write about.
If you missed them, here's my responses to Challenge 4, Challenge 5, Challenge 6, and Challenge 7
That's all I've got for this summary! I'm hoping that I'll be rested enough to focus more this week on writing and more fun things. But we'll see how it goes.
Wishing everyone a lovely week ahead!
