A silly thing to worry over

I'm poking at a few of my tokushipping week fics on my lunch break right now, and I realized that there's no kissing in any of them (except maybe the one for day 7, which I'm still working on). It feels kinda silly to be self-conscious about this because 1) there doesn't NEED to be kissing to show they care, and 2) half of these are pre-relationship fics anyway lol. Lately I'm really into exploring the moments when characters start to realize their feelings aren't 100 percent platonic anymore.

But I'm still feeling self-conscious about it anyway 😅 But I'm mostly ignoring it because I really like all these fics I've written for this event and I'm excited to post them next week!

I don't even like writing kisses so someone should kick me to stop thinking about it lmao

I love pre-relationship fics! And you're right there's more than one way to show characters care too. Not all my tokushipping week fics or art have kissing either + there's no kissing in any of the drawings, if that helps to hear!

I can’t speak for this event in specifically, but I definitely agree with 1, and 2 are always lovely!

(If you think about it objectively, kisses are kind of weird anyway 😂)
