It's too dang hot! This past week was brutal, but it looks like the temperature will go back to normal summer levels this coming week. (Still hot but tolerable)

Anyway, I did not do much but a little bit of writing and reading this week:

I posted a snippet of another new Ultraman Arc fic for [community profile] writetomyheart this week. It's cute fluff, and I actually kept working on it the rest of the week too, so now it's finished and ready to post. (Though I'm not in a mood to post anything to ao3 for a bit, so it's sitting in my finished fic stockpile for now)

Speaking of Arc, I also threw together a list of AUs that would be fun to see for the series. In fact, I spent way too much time last night thinking about that pirate AU idea.......

The only other writing I managed to do this week was a Wednesday/Enid drabble for [community profile] femslashfete. This also went to the fic stockpile to crosspost to ao3 at some point. (I currently have 7 fics in the pile 😅)

Only had a chance to read a little bit of fic this week. I'm still trying to whittle down my absurd amount of tabs open.

Two fic recs: a cute YGO fic where Ishizu and Mai happen to meet post-canon, and a fun YYH fic where Yukina & Hiei go Christmas shopping.

As I mentioned last week, the new Thai GL series Whale Store xoxo began airing this week. And it is on YouTube, so I was able to watch episode 1!

I liked it! I think the first episode spent way too long setting up the premise of the show, so I fear this series may have pacing issues, but otherwise, I think it's going to be a good watch. A nice rom-com with a little bit of drama thrown in too.

I should warn that the first episode contains the death of a parent, if anyone has trouble watching scenes like that.

I'm looking forward to episode 2 this week!

The [community profile] sunshine_revival challenge is kicking off at the beginning of July!

I really enjoyed the sunshine challenge in the past, so I'm glad someone decided to bring it back. I'm hoping to participate as much as I'm able.

Lastly, as Pride month wraps up, here is a lovely NPR article interviewing several older lesbian couples.

I don't have anything in offline life to share this week, so that's it. Wishing everyone a wonderful week ahead!
