Weekly summary: May 25 - May 31, 2025

alchemicinkA new week is here. And also a new month! It does not feel like it should already be June, and yet here we are.
Anyway, this past week was nice. Here's the usual summary:
I finally posted the Kuuga fic that I've been sitting on for a while. It was originally for my hanami fic project, but it fit a![[community profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/community.png)
tokuficathon prompt so I posted it for that instead. I really liked how this fic turned out.
I realize Kuuga is a pretty inactive fandom (in terms of fic) but I really enjoy writing these characters. I'm sure I'll do more this year.
I still have another hanami fic to post (it's G-witch) but I'm struggling with a title for it, so I don't know when I'll actually post it.

Music stuff!
YouTube decided to rec me Hagane's new song Not Lose like two weeks after it was posted. Come on, algorithm, wake up! (The song is okay but definitely not my favorite)
Continuing my overview of favorite Abingdon Boys School songs, here's Howling which was the opening to an anime I've never watched. The song is really good tho!
And lastly, hsj gave us a dance practice video for Encore. This makes up for not sharing the full music video! This song is really catchy to me. I've been humming it all week.

Briefly shared a headcanon about Gozyuger here earlier this week. I am fascinated with these characters so much.

I'm making an effort to read more fic because I really need to close a lot of the tabs I have open 😅 anyway, here are two recs from the past week of reading. (I still have... *checks notes* hundreds of fics left to read lmao)
I know I rec'd a fake marriage SG-1 fic last week, but this one featuring Daniel/Vala is also really good.
And I enjoyed this little FMAB post-canon fic where Ed makes a visit to Briggs again.

Lastly, not much happening in offline life for me right now. I made a brief post about birds and my garden recently, but that's about it right now.
I'm still working on writing my Animazement post. It's stupidly long but I'm having fun writing up all the details 😁
