April '25 writing goals
Apr. 1st, 2025 08:25 pmAlmost forgot to write this post! But I also accidentally wrote the date yesterday as March 33?? So I think maybe my brain just thinks April doesn't exist ๐
Anyway, new month, new goals!
Last month's post is here
How'd those goals turn out? Let's see...
Easy goals meant a successful month ๐
1) continue working on Ultraman Arc fics
Success! I have been rotating between several Arc WIPs. Haven't finished any of them yet, but we're getting there. Slowly!
2) try to write a bit for the usual Dreamwidth challenges
Success! Well, technically! I didn't manage anything for
femslashfete (tho there were several attempts) but I have written a few things for
tokuficathon so far, so that counts!
March was kinda a rollercoaster month, so I'm happy with these little accomplishments.
And now for April:
1) continue working on Ultraman Arc fics
Might as well make this a goal again! After all, as mentioned above, I'm still working on several fics
2) finish the Azula/Suki (atla) fic
Last week, I started on this fic for
femslashfete but didn't finish it. (It's gonna be a little longer than a ficlet) So my goal here is to actually finish it, so I can post it for the next amnesty week ๐ค I think it'll be good if I can stay focused on it.
3) write a fic for "If it's with you"
I mentioned recently that I watched this drama series and really enjoyed it! Now I can't stop thinking about a cute little post-canon fluff fic. I did start writing it this past weekend but was more difficult than I expected, so this might be a real challenge! But I'm gonna try ๐ช (I struggle these days with "why write it if no one'll read it" but I really need to force myself to get past that! I think working on this fic will help. I thrive on writing cute fluff)
4) hanami fics!
I did a little personal fic project last year where I wrote a few fics featuring hanami (Japanese cherry blossom viewing party) in some way. This was for several fandoms and I had ideas I didn't get around to writing last year, so I'd like to circle back and write a few more of them this year ๐ธ
And that's it! I just want to keep my goals pretty simple this month. (Because I know I'll probably end up writing a lot of other things too ๐ฅฐ)
Good luck to everyone else with their own creative endeavors this April!

Iโm not quite as organized (and still havenโt even managed to get back on Dreamwidth properly) but I bought a full year poster at the beginning of the year and Iโm trying to be more simplified and organized with stuff, and itโs sort of maybe working? I ended up not only finishing my original assignment for

I don't know how I manage to juggle everything either tbh ๐
