Work had me extra busy this week, so there's not much to write for this week's summary. Let's get to it...

I mentioned basketball last week, and I regret to inform y'all that my team lost this week 💔 it's always disappointing when the season ends, but the guys exceeded expectations this year and were a lot of fun to watch. So that counts for something! I'm already looking forward to next season.

I had a chance to catch another Braving the Elements episode this past week, and it was a very nice tribute to Mako, the original voice of Uncle Iroh, who passed away around the end of season 2. This episode had a lot of great insight into his career and his legacy. Definitely recommend a listen!

It was a very quiet week for music. HSJ's random video this time was a concert performance of Ignition (a b-side from the Kimi Attraction single). It's more of a ballad, so not my favorite, but the highlight is definitely the bit where Yamada plays the saxophone.

I also stumbled across this crazy-long piano medley of 200 anime songs! It's so long, I haven't actually finished listening to it yet. But I love piano covers, and this one is quite good. It's been fun getting excited over songs I recognize, and then also giggling over the interesting variety of song titles included.

I'm caught up with G-witch at the moment, so I'm just waiting for the YouTube channel to make the last two episodes available to watch. I'm excited, but I have a feeling the end of the season is heading for devastation [there's no nail biting emoji, but please imagine that's what I'm doing while I wait]

Next, after procrastinating for a few weeks, I finally finished my rewatch of Power Rangers in Space. The famous "I'm Spartacus" homage was actually the highlight of the finale overall, I think. I read somewhere that the finale was supposed to be a three-parter instead of just two episodes, and yeah, watching it now, it definitely felt like it could have used the extra episode. But, in general, it's a nice wrap up for the series.

(Now I just gotta rewatch it all again to start writing all my fic ideas......)

Lastly, because I was finished with PRiS, I decided to see if I could also watch the sentai version of the series, just because I was curious. And, luckily for me, Denji Sentai Megaranger is available on Tubi! So I've already watched the first four episodes. I love the silliness of tokusatsu very much, and I think the main characters are pretty charming so far. There are 51 episodes total I believe, so I guess this is what obscure piece of media I'll be fixated on for the next few weeks 😅
