February '26 writing goals

So I skipped January because I was in A Mood at the time and figured I needed a break from these goal posts. But I am feeling better now, so new monthly writing goals!!

How'd I do?

Two out of three ain't bad!

My goals were to work on tokuhols treats (success! I wrote a lot of them), write a 10 Things... or Punks Triangle fic (failure! I didn't have time), and work on stuff for fandomtrees (success!)

December was a busy month and I was mildly ill for the back half of it, so these results are better than expected actually. I'm glad 😊

And now February goals:

Y'all there are too many things happening this month 😅 I'm gonna be overly ambitious with my goals 👍

1) tokushipping week fics!

This is Feb 9-15 but thankfully I have been working on them during January, so I should be good. I still have one to finish writing, one to start writing, and one that's giving me trouble (but I haven't quite decided to drop it yet)

2) halfamoon fics

Happening Feb 1-14!

I'm writing drabbles for this, and like tokushipping, I got started on this early. So the ones for the first week are done. I'll probably write the rest later today.

I decided to do just character studies instead of ships, mostly because no ships popped into my head for the prompts.

3) seasonsofdrabbles treats

Work reveals are on Feb 7! I figured if I'm taking the time to write drabbles for halfamoon, I can do one or two treats here too.

4) tokufemslash February prompt meme!

Running until March 1! I'm excited for this! I really enjoyed the previous ficathon, so I'm excited for another excuse to write more toku ladies. (Thanks linky for running it!) I probably can't start on anything right away, but at least it's all month long. (Maybe I'll write one of my own prompts as a birthday gift to myself 😅)

...I need to watch more series so I can have more ships to write lol

5) Fresh Femslash Salad Bar

Hosted by elasticella and runs until Feb 28! I usually skip this because of everything else going on in February, but I figure I'll sign up this year with the goal of writing at least one thing. This is again something I'll have to wait to do during the back half of the month.

We'll see how it goes!

I'll be writing so many ladies in February 🥰 (I'm gonna scare off so many of my subscribers, but whatever) This is gonna be a fun month if I don't burn out by the end of it. Somebody please force me to take a break in March 😂
