The big annoying annual work project did not start this week like I anticipated, which has given me more time to work on fic ideas instead of just being incredibly stressed about life 🥳 Fun, but I am always overloaded with fic ideas so it kinda feels like my brain's on fire haha

Anyway, figured maybe I would just talk about a bunch of things I am working on/wanna work on but haven't had a chance yet. Maybe y'all can provide some guidance on what to prioritize. Or cheer me on. Or just tell me I'm crazy 😂

☆ Tokushipping Week
I am so excited for this upcoming event! I have seven fics planned out for the prompts, and I'm almost done with the fic for Day 1. It was fun to go through the prompts and figure out which of my toku ships I wanted to write. Some are not gonna get any traction at all (no one is gonna read my Megaranger Chisato/Miku fic lol), but I don't mind. I think I have a good variety.

As always, I'm very ambitious to think I'll be able to write seven fics before the week begins in February. But I'm gonna give it a good try! Even if I only actually finish two of them, I'll be happy.

I should make a Tumblr account beforehand for crossposting purposes...

Still in the planning stage for this one! Originally, I was gonna do some meta essays, but I think it'll be easier to just write drabbles instead. My biggest problem right now is just deciding which ladies to write about. I love so many woman characters! How can I choose!

Might just literally put some names in a hat if I have to 🤭

(I'm still a little mad that I lost several ao3 subscribers last year while posting my halfamoon fics. But also, if you hate stories about ladies... then good riddance!)

☆ A bnha fandom friend put together a little 2Top (tdbk or bktd... I literally do not care about name order) bingo card for February and shared it today. And I don't usually do bingo cards much but there's a Pirate AU square that immediately made me go 👀! I love pirate AUs. Maybe I can write one ficlet (despite the fact that I rarely write this ship anymore)

☆ I should browse the requests for

seasonsofdrabbles to see if I can write any treats. I was gonna write fewer drabbles this year but drabbles are such a fun little challenge, I really enjoy them! I think realistically, I can do at least one!

☆ I have only seen two episodes of Starfleet Academy but I already wanna write fic! The characters are just so fascinating, I wanna dig into them. Plus, here's an opportunity to write what essentially is a college au IN SPACE 😂 I will probably give it one more episode to get a better feel for the characters, then I'm gonna try to write one ficlet

☆ I also am thinking about ideas for a post-canon Ultraman Omega fic. (Post-canon where everything is the same except Kosei tells Ayumu what happened to Sorato!! *shakes fist*) The idea taking shape in my head would be a longer fic spanning the year-long timeskip, though I could also break it down into a series of one-shots instead maybe? I am indecisive over this still

☆ various other things to work on: finishing a Zukka fic I started recently for

writetomyheart (it's almost done); a Kuuga drabble sequence fic for a specific

toku100challenge prompt that has been living in my head for at least a year now; a little Kamen Rider Amazon fic; a little Ichi the Witch fic about Desscaras; a silly Ultraman Arc Valentines Day fic I didn't get a chance to write last year; and plenty of other fic ideas that have been simmering in my head for ages now

So many ideas. So little time 😂😭😂 Realistically, I will only focus on Tokushipping Week, Halfamoon and SoD right now. But you never know when the whims may change.

And also we're supposed to get a stupid bad ice storm this weekend, so I may end up stuck in my house with nothing to do but write (by hand?) for a few days...
