The wrong utensils

I have... once again... accidentally packed a fork for my soup 😒 I somehow do this EVERY time I bring soup to work for lunch

(Thankfully, there are some plastic spoons in the break room)

We picked up a Tupperware for my partner that has a bowl, insert, lid, and spoon that clips to the lid -- just for travel, because that way if he has leftovers he can store them in the hotel room minifridge. It was originally meant as a lunch container, so it should work for taking soup to work, with the spoon attached to the lid. Various companies make these in various styles, so if you shop around you could probably find one you like.

Sometimes, dedicated equipment is the most effective way to stop little annoyances like that. I hit on the idea after several rounds of "the restaurant only had foil / napkins" or "I had leftover chili but couldn't carry it."

Oh no!! While I usually drink my soup out of the bowl (can you tell I grew up with miso soup 😂) I totally get the frustration, and drinking a thicker soup wouldn’t be very convenient. (One time I forgot to pack my chopsticks…sigh)

(Ooh now I want miso soup ♡) I was having potato soup today so definitely not suitable for sipping 😁 I'm just glad we had spoons at the office
