Weekly summary: Sept. 28 - Oct. 4, 2025

alchemicinkIt was a nice week (on account of the hurricane staying out at sea 🥳) and I managed to get a lot done. Well, it feels like it anyway.
Here is this week's summary:
I'm still working on posting my finished fic to ao3, and I got two more posted this past week:
☆ Beauty (G-witch, Suletta/Miorine)
☆ Possibly Poison (Wednesday, Wednesday/Enid)
Planning to post maybe two more fics this week 🤞 the biggest problem I have right now is deciding which ones to post 😂
I made my usual monthly writing goals post which includes links to various events I want to write for. And I'm already making good progress so far. I'm having fun with the few things I'm working on right now. Hopefully I can keep up this momentum

In good news, they've finally made Kamen Rider Zeztz episodes available to watch at any time (if you're not in a place where it's region-locked). The playlist is here. I'm looking forward to being able to rewatch episodes!
As mentioned in this week's TV summary, Ultraman Omega was a recap episode since we're halfway through the series now. But then, they uploaded a special YouTube recap video afterwards anyway?? Seems a little repetitive lol. But I link this just because there's a little bit at the end previewing what's to come in the second half. I know Omega has been hit or miss with me so far (mostly miss), but they're adding a new woman to the cast and I'm very excited about that! I think I'll like the second half better than the first. (I hope)
In other TV news, a few days ago was the 10th anniversary of Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans! I can't believe it's been that long. This is one of my all-time favorite anime, and I feel like I'm due for another rewatch soon. I've been enjoying lots of lovely fan art on Twitter to celebrate. I have a short Orga & Mikazuki fic I will probably post this week. (It's an old shiritori fic I cleaned up)

Music stuff!
I just started my rewatch of the Hana Kimi 2007 drama last week, and then coincidentally, Orange Range decided to release a special MV for the opening song "Ikenai taiyou" this week! It's just the song with a bunch of visuals from the drama. Why'd they suddenly do this 18 years later? I dunno, but I like it!
Unlucky Morpheus has a new music video out recently: Convergent Rays. As usual, they are committed to filming PVs I have trouble watching, but I did enjoy the song. I hadn't been keeping up with them recently, so this is how I learned they're releasing a new album next month.
And, finally, hsj is releasing a new digital single next week called Ghost. (It's Halloween themed if you can't tell 😂) I'm excited for it. Takaki looks nice in the promo photo, so I'm ready to see him in the music video

Speaking of Halloween, the only interesting thing I did in offline life this past week was get my Halloween decorations up. My house feels appropriately spooky now 😁👻🎃
And that's it! I think I'm gonna go eat breakfast now and maybe take a little (ill-advised) nap. Wishing everyone a fun week ahead!
