Weekly summary: Dec. 22 - Dec. 28, 2024

This past week was a blur, thanks to the holiday, so I don't have much to share today. In fact... today's summary is mostly toku stuff 😅 (How'd that happen, I ask, knowing full well how it happened)
There was no Ultraman Arc episode this week 😭 but we did get Ishido's diary for episode 22. This was one of my favorite episodes of the series so it was especially nice to see Ishido's perspective on it.
And speaking of Ultraman, the movie "Shin Ultraman" is back on YouTube again. (As always, I have no idea if it's region-locked). That movie was my first introduction to Ultraman several months ago, and I certainly enjoyed it, even if it's a bit weird. (Also, it will never fail to be funny to me that Daiki from hsj is in this movie)

After like a two month break, I decided to get back to watching Bakuryuu Sentai Abaranger and Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon again.
They both continue to be fun! I'm 11 episodes in now for both. (Tho, I've seen the first half of PGSM before, but it's been over 2 years, so it's like watching for the first time again lol). The Abaranger episodes are really fun, but there's something about the team dynamic I don't vibe with yet. I can't put my finger on it. Regardless, I'm still enjoying it! Nishi as AbaRed is a delight 🥰
PGSM unfortunately reminded me of my rarepair Rei/Mako ship from these early episodes............. sigh

In offline life, I've been on vacation most of the week, which has been great! I needed a break. I've not done anything too exciting, but I appreciated not having to socialize with people for a few days 😂
I did go looking at local Christmas lights with my friend one evening while she was in town, so that was nice. I spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with my parents and brother, so that was nice and relaxing. I have way too many sweets to eat now 😅
And I've been doing puzzles again for the first time in YEARS. That's been good!
I was on a mini writing break (bc I did too much last week), but I think I may try to do a bit today. I'm actually kind of bored when I'm not writing 😂
