Excited about writing again

I've put a stricter time limit on my Twitter app again in an effort to be less distracted in the evenings, so I can actually get some writing done.

(Of course, I've conveniently developed an obsession with playing Minesweeper now, and I've also been dozing off for accidental naps in the evenings instead 😂)

But, despite all that, I AM getting some fic writing done!! And I've been enjoying it more too.

Since I finished my assignment for tokuholidayspecials last week, I've been working on treats! I didn't think I would have the enthusiasm to write a lot, but since I started on them, I'm having a great time so far! I feel like a bit of an "overachiever" writing them, but who's gonna complain about extra gifts, right? 🤭

I think this rekindled excitement comes from writing for fandoms I've only just started dipping my toes in. (Obviously not going to tell y'all which specific ones because exchange secrecy) But basically every toku fandom is still new to me right now. It's been fun to explore characters with different personalities and relationships with different dynamics than the ones I've been writing lately.

I've always been a multi-fandom multishipper, so hopping from one fandom to another isn't out of character for me. It's the way my brain is wired.

I'm taking a bit of a "fandom vacation" from bnha for a while because I think I'm burned out on it. (I've been dissatisfied with some things lately, which I won't complain about here, but it's hurt my enthusiasm for it in general.) I'm sure I'll circle back eventually, because I always do for everything else, but the break has been nice.

So I'm excited about these little toku treats instead right now. And I'm planning to browse through fandomtrees soon to find some things to write. Maybe I'll stumble across a request for a fandom I haven't written much for yet!

And I still have a big list of wlw ships I want to write, which I can do thanks to femslashfete prompts. (I'm hopefully getting back to them soon!) And I'm gonna have fun drabbling with all the toku100challenge prompts.

My enthusiasm tends to come and go, but right now at least, it's here and I have plenty of ideas to work on. So I'm happy with that 😊
