alchemicinkI had a nice week! Was busy with work for the first half of it, but that's because I took some vacation time for the second half of it (finally!!)
So, anyway, not a lot to share this week. Just a bit of rambling mostly 😅
Kamen Rider Ryuki has been consuming most of my free time, tbh! It's just so good! I'm kinda at the point now where I'm like "should I slow down to enjoy it as long as possible?" 🤔 but I think I'm not gonna be able to do that!
Anyway, I made a couple of posts this past week about the series as I was watching: here, here, and here

I checked the Ultraman Connection website, but they didn't translate one of Ishido's diary entries this week. I hope they get a chance soon because I'm excited to read his perspective on Ultraman Arc episodes 14 and 15.
It was only a special recap episode this week, but I am dying to see the next episode! I saw some screencaps from November's episodes and I'm really really excited for this upcoming arc 👀
I haven't had a chance to do much writing at all, but I did write a bit of an Ultraman Arc fic for shiritori this week. Just a snippet you can read here. I'm about done with the full fic, so I hope to post it tomorrow maybe. Definitely sometime before Halloween!

seasonsofdrabbles signups end tomorrow. I think I'm gonna end up skipping this round, but I'm definitely gonna write a treat or two (or three)
But I think I will sign up for the toku holiday exchange! I've finally watched enough series that I feel like I can sign up this year 😁 (do we think I can finish Ryuki fast enough to request that too? 🤔😂 okay, probably not)
I probably should force myself into taking a little writing break, but I also have so much I still want to write. (This week'sfemslashfete prompt is very tempting) The eternal struggle 😂

As mentioned above, I took some vacation time this week! No work Thursday or Friday or this weekend. It's been fantastic! I have really needed a mental break from work.
I didn't have a lot of things planned, but that worked out well. Pops and I had lunch together on Thursday (and we also went to vote early. Glad to be done with that)
On Friday, I took my car to get an oil change, and then I treated myself to lunch because it was a long drive to get there.
I've also been housesitting/petsitting for my parents this weekend, which meant I temporarily had Netflix access 😁
So I finally finished season 2 of Star Trek Prodigy. It was fun! It didn't quite hold my attention the whole time, (I just do not care for Chakotay very much) but overall, it was good. It's still a really good show to introduce Star Trek to kids. I hope they get a third season.
I also watched the "Ultraman Rising" movie (very cute) and the live action "Bleach" movie (honestly, not half bad).
Wish I had time to check out a few other things, but I attended a little birthday party on Saturday afternoon, and also I had to sleep at some point too.
Today, I'm just resting and recharging. (And probably watching more Ryuki episodes later 😂)

Ooh, I hope you and nibling will enjoy Prodigy if y'all check it out! It's great for explaining the worldbuilding of the Trek universe, but also has a pretty entertaining storyline too. The characters tho are the best part!
And I hope you get to watch yyh eventually! I'd love to hear your thoughts on it (or at least on Hiei and Kurama 😂🥰)
I did enjoy my rest time! (Was still somehow tired today tho 😂)
