Weekly summary: Mar. 3 - Mar. 9, 2024

alchemicinkDaylight Savings time change was last night, and I definitely feel that missing hour of sleep. But on the bright (haha) side, I'm looking forward to more sunshine in the evenings now!
Anyway, onto the weekly summary:
A couple of fic recs this week. Wish I had time to read more, but these were all great.
Two FMAB recs: this ed/ling fic that involves lots of pining. And this Al-centric fic featuring a lot of flowers.
And two YGO recs: Grandpa and Yami Bakura during Battle City! This one is so funny, that I'm just gonna replace canon with this story. And here is a sweet little fic about Jou & Shizuka. I need more fics of them spending time together 🥺
I've been doing a tiny bit of fic writing this week, chipping away at a few ideas. So hopefully I'll have something to post next week?? Maybe??

Music stuff!
HSJ keeps posting my least favorite songs, so nothing from them this week.
But I do have a live performance from Band Maid! Here is hate? which I think is a funny name for a song 😂 anyway, the extended bass & guitar interlude was SO GOOD. SO GOOD! 🤩🤩🤩

I saw that Netflix renewed atla for seasons 2 and 3! I'm excited, though I think I'll have a harder time convincing my brother to let me watch these when they come out 😅
I'm hoping they'll film these seasons quickly before the kid playing Aang hits his growth spurt 😂

In sad news, the creator of DragonBall, Akira Toriyama, passed away. You can read the initial announcement from ANN here. And they also had another article here with condolences from a lot of different people.
It's always sad to see someone go unexpectedly like this. But Toriyama certainly left an amazing legacy behind.

Lastly, I decided to rewatch a bunch of movies I have on DVD. One for each night (so I'm spending less time on my phone before trying to sleep lol).
I'm documenting it in this Twitter thread because that's fun for me 😂
