Kamen Rider Zeztz (episode 26)
A recap episode! Which makes sense actually because Baku needs to catch everyone up to speed on what happened in his dream and what they need to avoid happening in real life.
So there's not much to say about all that other than Fujimi's reactions to everything remain delightful to watch. He's so funny.
The big thing is really the fight at the end, when 5 and Kureha face off against Baku and Nox. It's a fun fight scene that did a good job utilizing the surroundings, and it was made even more fun by the appearance of someone new at the end.
How will he shake things up? I'm excited to see!
Girl Rules (episode 2)
Two episodes in and I'm really liking this series so far. There are mean ladies scheming things, and nicer ladies making bad decisions. It's all very exciting! There's not much plot at the moment, as the story really focuses on the character relationships. But the characters are all really interesting to me so far.
What makes them tick? Hopefully we'll find out.
The relationship I'm most interested in so far is Shasha and Gorya. Gorya is uninterested, which means Shasha is trying her hardest to catch Gorya's attention. I like their jabs at each other, like when Gorya shows up for the date but sarcastically says she's allergic to doing something she hates for very long, so it'll be a short date. They're fun to watch.
I'm less interested in the other relationships so far, mostly because I don't quite understand why Prim still kinda likes Bambi, even though she's a real piece of work. Girl, set some boundaries and stick with them! I hope we'll get some flashbacks as the show continues to paint a better picture of why she can't move on.
Speaking of flashbacks, I actually quite liked how all of them in this episode had some sort of nostalgic or old-timey filter on them. It was a neat visual choice that I thought helped embellish the feeling of a character "looking back" on those old memories.
I can't wait for next week to see what these ladies do next!
