There's still about 45 minutes left in friday here, so here we go. A ☆~magical~☆ set of

thefridayfive questions this week!

1. Have you ever watched illusion magic? Close-up, or in a stage show, or on television? Did it work for you?

I can't recall ever seeing a magic show in person, but I've watched some on TV over the years. I think they're neat!

2. Have you ever wished on a star, or a lucky cat, or a coin in a wishing well? Did it work in some way?

I like making silly little wishes on silly little things like those. I never pay attention to whether they come true tho 😅 When I was a kid, my friends and I would always make a wish at 11:11 (am or pm) and I still do that now if I happen to catch the clock at just the right time.

3. Have you ever cast a spell, made a love charm, or tried a curse? Did it work in some way?

I don't think shaking my fist and saying "curse you" to various printers over the years counts. (I mean, it certainly doesn't work 😂)

4. Are there any other traditional superstitions you pay attention to? Do they work in some way?

I do get superstitious about sports. Like, for example, if my team won then I want to wear the same shirt for the next game too. You know... just in case!! But I'm not as bad about it now as I used to be. I am constantly reminding myself that I have no bearing on the outcome of the game 😅 and that helps.

5. Would you want major magical powers like in a fantasy story? Which powers, and how would you use them?

Yeah, that could be fun! I think I'd be happy with just some generic powers that would require me to wave my arms around a lot and there would be sparkly colorful ribbons in the air too 😁✨️
