Halfamoon 2025
I put together a little mini masterpost of what I created for ![[community profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/community.png)
halfamoon 2025! The annual 14-day fest is about celebrating women, so I wrote some ficlets for my favorite ladies in a variety of fandoms 🥰 (I tried to do ones I didn't feature last year)
Day 1: Fashion
I wrote about Eliza Scarlet from Miss Scarlet and the Duke (or rather, now known as just Miss Scarlet). Read "Suitable" here on ao3 or here on Dreamwidth
I also self-rec'd an old Killjoys fic I wrote about Dutch and her boots. Read "Boots made for kicking" here on ao3
Day 2: Barriers and Boundaries
I thought about Sam and Janet from Stargate SG-1 and how they'd navigate being two ladies in the military in the 90s. Read "Moments" here on ao3 or here on Dreamwidth
Day 4: Murder and Mayhem
Who better to cause a little bit of chaos than Wednesday Addams from Wednesday? 😁 Read "A wild scorpion chase" here on ao3 or here on Dreamwidth
Day 5: Nature
Katara from Avatar the Last Airbender felt like a perfect example of someone who's in tune with nature. Read "Return to the flow" here on ao3 or here on Dreamwidth
Day 7: Best Friends and Sidekicks
Seven and Naomi's intergenerational friendship from Star Trek Voyager is so cute. Read "Absolutely necessary" here on ao3 or here on Dreamwidth
Day 9: Her Weapon of Choice
I immediately thought about Sango from Inuyasha wielding her boomerang. Read "It always comes back in the end" here on ao3 or here on Dreamwidth
I also self-rec'd an old Avatar the Last Airbender fic about Suki and her fan. Read "Safekeeping" here on ao3
Day 14: First Loves
Bit of a stretch for this one but I think Aneela and Delle Seyah Kendry from Killjoys are each other's first loves. Read "like a powerful tide" here on ao3 and here on Dreamwidth
And that's it! I had ideas for other days but didn't have time to write them. But I'm happy with how many I did do this year. Please go check out all of the posts over at the community because it's a wide variety of so many interesting ladies!
