Three Weeks for Dreamwidth 2024

I missed Three Weeks for Dreamwidth last year because I was still getting used to using this site and I think I only knew like one person here at that point. So I didn't even know it was happening!

I don't have anything planned ahead of time to celebrate. But this event seems focused on being more active on DW, so I'm going to make an effort to write more posts here again! (I've been too busy to do more than my weekly summaries lately, so this'll hopefully get me back in the swing of things 🤞)

I don't have a set theme, so expect a hodgepodge of random stuff. I was thinking about writing a reminiscing post about the anime convention I attend every year, for example. And I'd like to finally compile and post a couple of fic rec lists. (I've been saving fic links for months lol) And I have a few rambly thoughts about writing I might throw together too. Who knows!

Maaaaybe I will even post a few fics here, and wait until the 3 weeks are up to crosspost to ao3. We shall see how I feel...

I'm going to try to take part in some community events too. Some I've seen so far:

If you want something simple to do, here's a list of questionnaires. Some folks like to pick one and answer it all at once, others do a question per day.

The core of it is just posting things only to DW. Some people mainly participate by commenting on other blogs or communities.

Yep, that's a thing people do. The 3W4DW writing fests often gather stuff at the end to crosspost on AO3.

My list has dozens of questionnaires broken down into multifandom, specific fandom, nonfandom, etc. Answering questionnaires is a very popular activity this year, lots of people are doing it.
