March '24 writing goals
Time for another edition of "Holly gives herself writing guidelines for the month and then ignores them" 😁
February's post is here
Let's see how I did with February's goals:
1) Ladies bingo
Both a success and failure! Because I didn't finish any of those fics, but I did start on them!! So not as much progress as I'd hoped, but we're getting somewhere
2) femslash February
Success! I wanted to write things for Halfamoon, and I did! It was fun 😊 but I didn't get a chance to do all my ideas, so maybe I'll swing back around to them later
3) work on YYH fics
Failure! I was focused on other fandoms this past month. But I'm sure if I pick up my rewatch again, I'd be more motivated to get back to them.
4) finish one WIP
Failure! But to be fair, I did work on several different WIPs. It's just that work was so busy this month, so I didn't spend a lot of time on any one fic long enough to finish one.
5) work on some long fics
Failure! Although I brainstormed a bit for one of them. I just didn't have the time to focus.
So... February's goals didn't quite pan out. But I'm not really disappointed because I did make progress. Just not enough to check each goal off the list.
And now some goals for March:
1) Ladies bingo
The event ends on March 31! So here's my last chance. I want to finish at least one fic even if I can't manage the full bingo.
2) finish one WIP
There's two fics in particular (bnha bakuiida and ygo angstshipping) I've been working on lately that really feel so close to being done (I know, I said that last month too 😂). Anyway, I don't have to finish those (it could be any WIP), but I'd certainly be happy if it was them
3) work on PRiS fic project and Toku100 fics
Spring feels like a good time to circle back around to Power Rangers/Super Sentai! I'll be happy if I can write another fic or two for my PRiS fic project. And I really want to finally FINALLY write at least one Megaranger fic for toku100. I had a prompt picked out, but I think I might revisit the tables and find a different one to spark my motivation.
And that's it! I couldn't think of anything else specific to focus on right now, so who knows what I'll actually end up working on in March? 😂
