Username song challenge

There's a final challenge over at 3weeks4dreamwidth where you choose songs for every letter of your username. Seems like a good opportunity to share songs from some of my favorite Japanese artists 🥰

So here's a hodgepodge of stuff, ranging from bands I loved in high school to newer stuff from the past year. Hope you enjoy my... uh, eclectic(?) taste in music!

A - Aristocrat's Symphony by Versailles
(a Visual Kei favorite from my high school days. I loved their styling so much. This is one of their earlier singles and features their original bassist who passed away in 2009. RIP)

L - Lamb by Garnidelia
(This is the song that introduced me to 踊りて (people who create dance choreography to popular songs) and that's a fun rabbit hole to fall down. I think it's pretty cool that Maria from Garnidelia regularly did these videos with her friends)

C - Catharsis (acoustic version) by Band Maid
(This is one of my favorite metal bands, but occasionally they switch things up a bit, like with this lovely acoustic performance. I also just really love the lyric "no night lasts forever" in this song.)

H - Hero's Come Back by nobodyknows+
(I picked a live performance of this song because it's really fun! This was an opening from Naruto Shippuden, so it's been a favorite for a long time)

E - E by tricot
(Couldn't resist picking the song that's literally called "e" for this one 😂 anyway, enjoy some math rock!)

M - Maewomuke by Hey!Say!JUMP
(My favorite silly music video from my favorite silly boyband. You can tell they had a lot of fun filming this!)

I - I wish I by Gacharic Spin
(The music video version of this song is good too, but I'm really fond of this concert performance. The second verse really resonates with me.)

C - Colors by FLOW
(Another one from my high school days! FLOW has a ton of great hits, but this one is a favorite. It was used as an opening for the anime Code Geass.)

I - Introduction by Queen Bee
(This band gets more and more popular each day, but this is one of their older songs I really love. It's so catchy, I'll be singing it all night~)

N - NON TiE-UP by BiSH
(It was surprisingly hard to find a song for this letter?? But thankfully BiSH came to the rescue. This music video is so weird, it always makes me laugh. This group has since disbanded, but I have fond memories of how delightfully weird they were)

K - Kachi Kachi Yama by Gacharic Spin
(I was trying not to repeat bands, but Gacharic Spin deserves to be here twice! This song is so fun 😊 Always gives me an energy boost just listening to it.)

And that's the end! I never realized how long my username was until I tried to find songs for this 😂 but it was definitely fun!
